Just because Sam and Jake have covered all The Beatles' studio albums doesn't mean they're quite done with the Fab Four just yet. As the boys have alluded, the band released dozens of non-album tracks and a double compilation was assembled years after the band's break-up collecting them all from EPs to B-sides to other curios (Did you know The Beatles re-recorded their two biggest singles at the time for the German-language market?). Halloween Horror Month continues with Chris' pick, John Carpenter's The Thing, an adaptation of the short story Who Goes There? and the 1950s horror classic The Thing from Another World. A particular favorite (And hugely referenced) film of the Geek Out trio, The Thing marked the beginning of Carpenter's collaborations with Kurt Russell and turned the former child actor into a mature leading man.
