One year after Roy Burns went on his copycat killing spree, Tommy Jarvis tracks down the grave of the real Jason Voorhees in a desperate attempt to ensure that not only is he dead but that Jason’s body has been destroyed. Inadvertently, by stabbing Jason in the chest with an iron rod that then gets struck by lightning, Tommy is the reason that the killer is allowed to come back to life to begin his vengeance anew. Can the newly dubbed town of Forest Green survive the return of Jason Voorhees?
