Also, Chris shares the Poltergeist remake's chilling first trailer leading into another in-depth discussion of cinematic horror. Lifelong Blink-182 fan Sam discusses the departure of the band's original guitarist. And, in the wake of last week's discussion on Marvel's Secret Wars, the gang talks about DC Comics' recent announcement of their post-Convergence publishing library. After Jake's recent movie marathons, Chris launches into a marathon of his own with the Ernest films. The gang discusses the recently announced Secret Wars which is poised to change the Marvel Universe as comic readers know it; this leads to a greater discussion on continuity altering comic book events and the value of continuity. Jake and Chris launch into a diatribe about Disney and Pixar films and the best films that Pixar has put out. Oh and Sam loves to use the phrase "laying pipe". A can't miss episode, to be sure.

Sam and Chris compare their recent outings to the movie theater, Chris having seen the latest Kevin Hart flick The Wedding Ringer while Sam, continuing his Academy Award checklist, watches The Theory of Everything. The gang discusses Funko's amazingly popular line of Pop! Figures and reveal what pop culture icons they'd love to see immortalized by the company. Oh, and Sam shares a bit of fan fiction he had wrote. Crackerjack stuff, gang.
