Geek Out Commentary: Skyfall

The countdown to SPECTRE concludes here as the gang watches the most recent James Bond film Skyfall. Critics felt that Quantum of Solace was a serious letdown for the franchise and, after a four-year hiatus, Daniel Craig roared back with the British superspy's most personal adventure ever as the film franchise celebrated its 50th anniversary. Many called Skyfall the greatest Bond film ever when it was first released...but that was 3 years ago; what do the boys think now? Watch along and listen to find out!

Geek Out Commentary: Halloween (2007)

October Halloween Horror Month continues with Jake's pick: Rob Zombie's 2007 reimagining of John Carpenter's horror classic Halloween! Encouraged by Carpenter himself to make it his own, Zombie set out to answer many of the questions he had about the original Halloween and turn his focus on Michael Myers with the film serving as an origin story of sorts for the iconic serial killer. Listen as the gang discuss the remake, exploring Myers' origins vs. leaving him as a mysterious force of pure evil, and when exactly Sam's dad called it quits on the original slasher classic.
