We continue our countdown to Creed with the first of many sequels to the film that made Sylvester Stallone a household name! Even though the first Rocky film catapulted Stallone to overnight success, he was still struggling to cement his status in Hollywood. With that, he decided to create a sequel to his breakout role (And make his directorial debut in the series)! While Jake certainly holds Rocky II in high regard, how does the rest of the gang? Is Rocky II a worthy successor to the Best Picture winner or is it a sophomore slump? What character actor from Licence to Kill shows up? And who the hell keeps reminding Rocky that he's Italian? For several episodes, we've been in various stages of excitement or disappointment with the fifth installment of the Terminator franchise but now that it's finally out and we've seen it, what do we actually think of it? What are its flaws and how does it compare to the rest of the series? All of these questions are answered and more in this week's episode. Geek Out Commentary: Rocky

It's new commentary release day for us, but for him, it's just another Monday. We get in an early countdown for this year's Rocky spin-off (And first Rocky-related film in 9 years!) Creed by doing commentaries for the entire Rocky series! The first film is Jake's personal favorite film of all time but how do the other guys warm up to it? Everyone also seems to forget that the first film won Best Picture when first released, but how does it hold up now? Geek Out Commentary: The Sandlot

For a special Independence Day release, we did a commentary for a little film from most of our childhoods called The Sandlot. Baseball was a big part of growing up for Chris, Jake, and Sam and this film really celebrates the love and mythology of the game as a kid. And hey! It's got Karen Allen and Denis Leary! That's like a winning combination there, right? Listen as the gang shares their memories of baseball and Josh marvels at the spinning vomitorium.

Geek Out Commentary - Mission: Impossible III

The countdown to Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation continues with JJ Abrams feature film directorial debut, Mission: Impossible III! The gang calls the third installment the moment the film series found its groove with Chris comparing the film to having the same effect as Fast Five did with The Fast and the Furious franchise. The Mission: Impossible franchise is one of the few blockbuster franchises where the differences in directorial style are readily apparent among the various installments and no Mission: Impossible film is no more different from the rest than Mission: Impossible II...but is that a good thing?
