Halloween Horror Month continues with Chris' pick, John Carpenter's The Thing, an adaptation of the short story Who Goes There? and the 1950s horror classic The Thing from Another World. A particular favorite (And hugely referenced) film of the Geek Out trio, The Thing marked the beginning of Carpenter's collaborations with Kurt Russell and turned the former child actor into a mature leading man.
